The company evolved into “Baume and Mercier” in 1920 due to collaboration between William Baume (grandson of the founder) and Paul Mercier. The new alliance led the company to greater heights. They were awarded the most prestigious diploma “Poincon de Geneve” (Geneva hallmark), by the Geneva Watchmaking Senior Committee. The diploma confirmed that the company used highest number of hallmark stamped original pieces.

Today the proud company celebrates its 180th anniversary in 2010 by presenting “Classima Collection” in limited numbered edition. The new collection is a treat for the watch collectors.
